All our productions take place with a full orchestra and are sung in English.
We are fortunate to have high class, experienced principals taking the lead roles.
Although we are an amateur society,
we pride ourselves in the professionalism of our shows, from the standard of the musical performance, to the creativeness
of the productions and the quality in our sets and costumes.
We always welcome new singers of all ages into the Society
whether to join our well renowned, experienced chorus or to take principal roles.
The Society performs two shows each
year, typically during the Easter break and during the Autumn half term.
Rehearsals are held every Monday evening at
8-10pm at Windsor Boys' School. In the run up to the show, we also have full rehearsals on two or three Sunday afternoons.
We
start rehearsing for the next show soon after the previous show, learning the music first, before moving onto the staging.
The
week of the show is always an intense, exhilarating experience from the Sunday dress rehearsals, through six full performances
to the after show party!
So whether you're a soaring soprano, an artful alto, a terrific tenor or a booming bass, give
us a go! It's fun!
